I believe that clothes help actors feel
emotionally connected to their character.
— Ingrid Cadieux

Ingrid is one very creative Designer. Passionate, dedicated, intuitive, are all words that represent her well. She is one up and rising hidden gem in her field today with a wide variety of credits in films and TV series.

After graduating from Lasalle College fashion design school in Montreal, Ingrid first gained experience as an assistant Designer for the local industry, quickly moving into branding her own line and doing personal styling for local celebrities. She also tackled over 400 commercials requiring great abilities to meet the needs of creative agencies and clients.

She also assisted several well-known costume Designers who all praised her work, including Isis Mussenden, governor of the Costume Designers Branch for the Academy Awards, in “On the Basis of sex”, a period film on the life of Ruth Bader Ginsburg featuring Felicity Jones and Armie Hammer.

She won the first prize of most promising young designer in the province of Quebec. She also showcased her writing talents along with her styling one as the fashion editor for Taxxi magazine.

Her work as a Designer on Young & Rubicam Madeleine Saint-Jacques short film is one among others she is particularly proud of.

Her professional career led her recently to being Key Wardrobe Master on the high fashion Freeform show The Bold Type for 5 seasons and has been an amazing window to showcase more fabulous fashion looks that she could ever dreamed of putting together. Her ability to dress every single background on the same level of style as the main cast with a fraction of the budget earned her tremendous reviews.
